2. Website delivery and hosting

This static website is designed to be hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the site, technical data necessary to deliver and secure it may be processed, including your IP address, access date and time, requested resource, browser and device details, referrer and HTTP status. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in secure and reliable website delivery. Data is processed only for as long as necessary for these purposes or to meet legal requirements. Netlify may use subprocessors and process data outside the EEA, subject to applicable safeguards under Chapter V GDPR. See the Netlify Privacy Policy and Netlify GDPR information.

3. Contact by email

If you contact us, we process the information you send (particularly your email address, message and any contact details) to respond and communicate with you. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual enquiries and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We delete the information when no longer needed, unless statutory retention requirements apply. Email transmission may entail technical security risks.

4. Ethnomarketing Campaign Builder

Our links take you to the separately operated Ethnomarketing Campaign Builder at kalicmedia-campaignbuilder.netlify.app. A connection to that service is established only when you follow the link. Its hosting provider then processes technical access data. If you submit a campaign enquiry, we process the information you provide to handle your request under Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Please read the privacy information available within the application. It is also delivered via Netlify; the hosting information in section 2 applies accordingly.

5. Cookies and local storage

This website itself uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Your language preference is stored in your browser's local storage under km-language. This enables the language you select; any related personal data processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. This storage is necessary for the requested preference feature under Section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings. No optional tracking technologies requiring consent are loaded.

6. Recipients and retention

Personal data is made available only to recipients and service providers necessary for hosting, technical operation or handling your enquiry. We generally retain personal data only as long as required for the respective purpose and applicable statutory obligations. Technical access-log retention is determined by the hosting provider's processes.

7. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access (Article 15), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction (Article 18), portability (Article 20) and objection (Article 21). You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect (Article 7(3)). We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data. The website is delivered over HTTPS when correctly configured on its hosting platform.
